How To Delete AutoComplete History On Windows 8

As you all know that Windows 8 Operating System having Internet Explorer 10 as a browser and Internet Explorer 10 has the ability to save your previous entries, so when you type something on IE10 then it automatically suggests you the matches on the basis of previous entries. If AutoComplete History is Disabled, then IE10 do not save history but if it’s enabled then AutoComplete History Saved on your Hard Disk.

Simple Steps to Follow for Deleting AutoComplete History in Windows 8 :

Step 1 - Open Search Box and on Search Box Type Control Panel and then Click on the Control Panel.

Step 2 – Now Click on the Network and Internet.

Step 3 - Now Click on Internet Options.

Step 4 - Go to the Content Tab and then Click on the Settings Button Under the AutoComplete Option.

Step 5 - Tick all Boxes and click on Delete AutoComplete History Button.

Step 6 - Now you will get following Options as Deleting Browsing History :

Preserve Favorites Website Data

Temporary Internet files and website files.

Cookies and website Data.

History

Download History

Form Data

Passwords

ActiveX Filtering and Tracking Protection Data

Select whatever you want to delete from Option’s and then Click on DeleteButton.

Done! Your all AutoComplete History from Internet Explorer 10 will be Deleted.
