Create A Password For A User Account In Windows 8

Creating a Password for User Account is a Good Way to Secure User Account in Windows 8 . So here is the tutorial on how to create a password for a User Account in Windows 8 .

Simple Steps to Follow :

Step 1 – Go to PC Settings >- Usersand Click on Create a password under the Sign-in Options.

Step 2 - Now Enter your Password, Reenter Password, Enter Password Hint and Click on Next.

You can also leave Password Hint Option.

Step 3 - Done ! Password is created for User Account, Now Just Click on Finish.

If you want to Create Password for Another User Account, then Just Follow Below given simple Steps :

Step 1 - Go to Control Panel >- User Accounts >- Manage another account.

Step 2 - Click on the User Account for which you want to create Password and then Click on Create a password.

Step 3 - Now Type your Password, Confirm Password, Type a Password Hint on Box and Click on Create Password.

Step 4 - That’s It! Now You can see that your Another User Account is also password Protected.

Now you can Close Window.

Remember - You Must be Signed In as an Administrator for Creating a Password for User Account.
