Limit The Live App Tile Updates Data Usage In Windows 8

In Windows 8 Operating System some Metro Apps Like Weather Report App, Photos App, News App, Mail App which are Pinned to the Start Screen are updated Automatically. If your Internet Connection is Slow or limited then you can set the Monthly data usage limit for Metro apps live tile updates for reducing your Internet Monthly Data Usage.

Simple Steps to Follow :

Step 1 – First Open the Windows 8 Start Screen.

Step 2 - Now Open the Charm Bar >- Settings charm on the start screen.

Step 3 - Select Tiles on the Settings Option.

Step 4 – Now Select how much data usage limit you want per month from Data used for tile updates.

After your data usage limit has been reached you will be informed that the new update is available, but tiles will not update automatically.

Below Data used for tile updates you will see Data used by you from the start of the Month.

Step 5 – Done ! Now you can Close the start settings bar .
