Here you are going to install additional Language packs in Windows 8. Basically when you’re installing windows 8 you can select the language which you want to install in your system you can even change the language after installing Windows 8. Now you are going to see how to install and uninstall a language pack after installing Windows 8.
Please follow the below steps.
#1 Open Control Panel.
#2 Click on Languages. Then you can see the following window. Here there is only one language i.e English which is by default. Now you can add your preferred language.
#3 Click on Add a Language option.
#4 Then you can see the following window.
#5 Now I am selecting Telugu Language for installing it. Select the Language and Click on Add.
# 6 Now the Telugu Language Pack has successfully Installed.
#7 Now you can select your desired Language on the Right Side of the Task Bar itself as shown below.
#8 Now for testing purpose I am selecting Telugu Keyboard. You can check it below.
The language pack has been successfully added and it is working fine.
Now you are going to see how to uninstall a language pack.
# 1 Go to Control Panel.
#2 Click on Languages.
#3 Now you can see the language packs that are installed in your system. Select the Language pack which you want to uninstall or remove and then click on Remove button , it will be removed from your system.
Note: Don’t install too many languages because it may effect the system performance.
